If you were into computers or just getting started in the early 1980s, you already know all about the hugely popular Commodore 64. (64K of memory!) They were phenomenally successful, it seemed everybody had one, they were very affordable compared to competitors from Atari, Apple or Tandy and you could buy them everywhere. Well, time marches on, but fans of the original Commodore 64, who often still have theirs stored away in a closet somewhere, will be happy to know, Individual Computers of Germany is bringing out all new cases and will have a newly revamped motherboard, to go along with it. You'll be able to buy a brand new Commodore 64.
If you never had one or came to computers only recently, you won't understand the attraction to this vintage machine with very limited capabilities, but back then, these were the launchpad for many programmers and computer professionals. Even today, they're still used by some hardware hackers as the basis for great projects. Very cool!
